South Africa’s progressive role at the United Nations” An increasing leadership for Security, Human Rights and Development
Mr. Yvetot, UNIDO Representative to the EU
Mr. Chistophe Yvetot , UNIDO Representative to the EU, was invited by the South African Embassy to deliver a speech at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on the 27th of September.
The event aimed to celebrate South Africa’s progressive role at the United Nations. The event was hosted by Michael Cashman (MEP) and the South African Embassy to Belgium , the Luxembourg and Mission to the EU.
Mr. Yvetot pointed out the progress South Africa has made since the end of the Apartheid and its progressive role as a regional leader within Africa, and its continually growing importance at the UN.
