South Africa’s progressive role at the United Nations” An increasing leadership for Security, Human Rights and Development

Mr. Yvetot, UNIDO Representative to the EU

Mr. Chistophe Yvetot , UNIDO Representative to the EU, was invited by the South African Embassy to deliver a speech at the European Parliament in Strasbourg on the 27^th of September.

The event aimed to celebrate South Africa’s progressive role at the United Nations. The event was hosted by Michael Cashman (MEP) and the South African Embassy to Belgium , the Luxembourg and Mission to the EU.

Mr. Yvetot pointed out the progress South Africa has made since the end of the Apartheid and its progressive role as a regional leader within Africa, and its continually growing importance at the UN.
